Novolin R regular insulin

Novolin R is a short-acting insulin used to help control blood glucose (blood sugar) levels in adults and children with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes. It is available as a multi-dose vial, which requires the use of an insulin syringe, or as the Novolin R FlexPen, a convenient prefilled disposable pen. Novolin R is typically injected under the skin 2 to 3 times daily, approximately 30 minutes before meals, as directed by a healthcare provider. Common side effects may include low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) and mild redness, swelling, or pain at the injection site.
